The Eat Locally Grown Campaign works to grow a community-based, sustainable food system that addresses the health, environment, and economy of North Kohala. Current initiatives include an EBT booth at the Hawi Farmers Market, a fresh produce supplement program at the Food

Established in 1999 to address the need for recognition of the many veterans who served the nation honorably. Responsibilities include maintaining the community monuments dedicated to fallen veterans. In addition, a new Wall of Honor is being planned for the community.
