Honopueo Agricultural Water Line Cooperative
Continued cooperation from Surety Kohala, Kohala Nursery, and other Honopueo land owners has produced a tentative engineering design completed in May 2009. The goal is to replace the Kapa'au lateral pipeline from the Kohala Ditch that serves irrigation needs of about 2,100 acres. Next steps will be evaluated when operation and maintenance of the Kohala Ditch changes hands from Surety Kohala to the newly formed Kohala Ditch Foundation. Forrest Arnold 987-2365.
