WasteStream
The WasteStream Recycling Committee would like to thank the North Kohala community for being proactive in their recycling efforts. More recyclables are being disposed of through the Two Stream Sort containers at the local Transfer Station as well as at the non-HI5 glass disposal is located at the ARC redemption pavilion next to the Transfer Station. This volunteer program initiated in 2005 has proven profitable for local service clubs and youth groups and sponsors an annual Earth Day Trash Bash Art/Fashion Show. This year’s event can be viewed on the internet at http://www.youtube.com. WasteStream continues to be extremely active in the pursuit of reducing, reusing and recycling. Colleen Nevins 889-5009.
