Summer Arts Academy
The Academy offers a 3-day multi-media fine arts workshop for children ages 5-12.Workshop curriculum explores drawing and composition; acrylic painting on canvas; watercolor painting on paper; Gyotaku fish prints and monoprints; air-dry clay pottery; handmade paper making techniques and mosaic creations with various found objects. The class helps children express their creativity in a safe, warm, artistic environment. Taught by well know fine artist and decorative painter, Deb Thompson along with KC Stallsmith, a multi-media glass artist, painter and licensed childcare provider.
