Kohala Robotics
Kohala High School's robotics team, 2460Paniolo, is a co-curricular afterschool program which includes high school students and volunteer teacher and community mentors. In addition to participating in six competitions in Japan, Oahu, and Florida in 2010, the program hosted community dinners, open house events, and car washes. The team participates in three robotics platforms: FIRST, VEX, and Microrobots, and this year will add Botball. It has also begun a collaboration in mentoring a middle school VEX program.
