Kohala Mountain News is now in its fifth year, publishing a 16-page free monthly edition which is distributed to every post office box in Hawi and Kapa'au as well as numerous stands around town and at Kohala Ranch. Supported by advertisisng and community contributions, Kohala's only newspaper is the product of volunteer writers, photographers, and community contributors.
